Eric Fingerhut Appointed New Higher Ed Chancellor

The Dispatch breaks the news, though it had been long perceived as a done deal.

"Eric Fingerhut, a former state senator from Shaker Heights, will be named chancellor of the Ohio Board of Regents.

The board announced today that Fingerhut, 47, will be appointed at a special meeting next week. He will replace former Chancellor Chairman Roderick G.W. Chu who resigned last year."
Once upon a time there was a Friends of Eric Fingerhut blog. Wouldn't it be interesting if the new Chancellor blogged his experiences?

In the meantime, congratulations to Sen. Fingerhut.

Perhaps bloggers and MSM could make themselves more relevant to the OBR. An interesting starting point: Do college seniors have a better grasp of "the duties of citizenship" than high school seniors?
