Rep. Sherrod Brown will appear at a town forum tomorrow night (Monday) from 6:30-8:00 in the auditorium of the Akron-Summit Main Library. All are welcome and he is planning to take questions. Summit County Progressive Democrats are sponsoring.
I'll be there with my laptop. Since I'm having trouble with wireless hookups outside my home network, I probably won't be posting a real-time liveblog, but expect something -- hopefully an as it happened post -- to be up once the Small Creatures are in bed.

Thanks for the reminder Pho. I look forward to your report back. :)
Isn't Brown from Akron? Why is he campaigning in his own area? I guess he is trying to get one last publicity shot before he returns to his day job in the House where he won't be able to do much campaigning.
Anon:
He's originally from Mansfield. He moved to Avon Lake to run in the 13th in 92 (before Summit was mixed into the district.) He maintains an office in Akron, but otherwise is in no way "from." here. He was asked to do a forum by someone in SCPD with connections.
The tendency of Hackettfan to shoot a spitball at absolutely everything Sherrod Brown does is grating. He's a good Representative who may or may not be the best Senate candidate. He's not evil, stupid or incompetent. Get over your Marine-loving self.
